September is finally here! That means cooler temps after this record summer. We have a short and sweet list of activities to check out this month. Get out and enjoy the fall temps!

Zilker Relays – September 8th

The Zilker Relay is a 10-mile relay race where 4-runner teams tackle a 2.5-mile loop from a central festival area. It’s created for runners of all levels and ages. There will be live music and food. Most importantly, the relay supports Marathon Kids, a local nonprofit promoting youth activity. Register here!

Sherwood Celtic Music Festival & Highland Games – September 8th and 9th

Come out to McDade, TX to see the vibrant culture and traditions of the Celtic heritage! Over 2 days, enjoy live music, highland games, and talented artisans selling their goods. More info can be found here

Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival – September 10th

Come out to The Far Out Lounge and on Sunday September 10th from 3 – 9pm. This event benefits the Central Texas Food Bank, featuring 20 local and regional hot sauce bottlers, celebrity judges, and People’s Choice Awards. Indulge in endless chips and hot sauce and live music. Get your tickets here.

Pecan Street Festival – September 16 – 17th

One of the nation’s largest and most enduring arts, crafts, and music gatherings is happening again this year! Admission is free. Find out more here.

Texas Craft Brewers Festival – September 30th

Beer lover? You have to come out to try a variety of craft beers from Texas brewers and enjoy delicious foods from local vendors. Hosted at Fiesta Gardens in Austin, this outdoor festival offers covered seating! Get your tickets here.
